About Me

Hi! I’m Erin. I have a passion for Economics and Journalism. I’m taking baby steps on a long walk to owning my own newspaper! Now, I’ve created this blog because I believe kids should know more about what’s going on in the world and our country. I’ve talked to kids who have said that they don’t know anything about economics and politics, but don’t care about knowing it either. This is an important problem, because the youth of today will be adults, making the decisions in the future. As a kid, I’ve seen what an amazing impact understanding economics, politics, our government, and current events can have at a young age.

I’m homeschooled, and I have 3 siblings and two dogs. I’m also involved speech and debate. My other interests include cooking, singing, playing violin and piano, and writing.
